Microneedling
What is Microneedling?
Microneedling is a safe and effective method used to create new skin tissue that is firmer, and even in tone and texture. Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy, is a procedure that involves puncturing the skin with tiny, sterile needles that range in diameter from 0.5 to 2.5 millimeters. The size of the needle used is based on the skin concern and where on the body the procedure will be performed. This causes a slight injury by creating pinpricks in the skin, in return the skin responds by making new collagen-rich tissue to fill in the microscopic wound.
