What are the benefits?
What should I do after my Laser Hair Removal treatment?
You can apply cool compresses to help reduce temporary swelling and pain after your laser hair removal treatment. Also, protection against the sun is imperative. Please speak with our laser technician on what type of sunscreen is best suited for your skin to ensure any adverse reactions.
What should I avoid after my Laser Hair Removal?
You should avoid direct sunlight after your treatment or long exposures to the sun. Avoid scheduling your sessions too close together in the same area. We like to schedule our patients 4-6 weeks apart. Avoid tanning and tannin lotions. Tanning can increase your likelihood of burns or run the risk of hypopigmentation (light spots). Avoid body scrubs as these can irritate your skin.
